Lead Cost Controller

Requirements : Bachelor degree, diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in Cost control within the Engineering and Construction industry.
Registration with SAPCI or AQS advantageous.
Minimum 8/10 years experience in a lead or senior cost engineering/control role on major industrial power or energy projects. Hands on experience with a range of cost control systems incorporating cost forecasting, trending and earned value techniques. Exposure to estimating within a change management system. Fully conversant with Work breakdown and project coding structures for mega projects. Experience in preparing and executing procedures for cost control. Knowledge of PRISM a distinct advantage. Fully familar with project procedures for cost and change management. Conversant with the use of automated cost management systems. Ability to monitor and review performance in areas of cost estimating cost control, cost analysis and change management. Ability to create/update cost estimating/control methods and procedures to reflect the latest engineering and project exeuction philosophies. Well developed computer skills, especially in database integrations and production of charts, graphs, etc. Management and leadership experience in a project environment.
